[Release Notes] Subscriptions

We are proud to announce, that we have released a new feature for Subscriptions API.  Invoices are now available for Subscriptions payments.

Add invoice details to subscription payment.

Invoice details can be added to:

  1. Subscription payment
  2. One-off payment on an existing agreement.
  3. One-off payment with a new agreement.

You can now add invoice details to your payment. These will be shown to the user in the MobilePay app. In addition, we will generate a PDF file that will also be accessible to the user from the MobilePay app.

All you need to do is attach an invoice object to the property (which is optional) of current payment object.

Note on OpenID Connect

This feature is only available for those, who have integrated using OpenID Connect. Read more about OpenID Connect on our developer portal here

This API uses OAuth 2.0 protocol for authentication and authorization and contains endpoints needed to implement MobilePay Subscriptions. Therefore, you must assure that you subscribe to Subscriptions version 1.1.4 and use OpenID Connect before end of year

As a subscriptions merchant, you are welcome to migrate from SSL to OpenID Connect already.

The deadline of migrating to OpenID Connect is 1-1-2020

The technical reason for deprecation the SSL is because OpenID Connect supports our increasing focus on ensuring high security.

We recommend you to use this library. It is .NET OpenID Connect client library for native mobile/desktop applications.  It is a .NET Standard helper library for claims-based identity, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect. It features client libraries for standard OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect endpoints like authorize, token, discovery, introspection, revocation etc. and helpers for token management as well as constants for standard JWT claim types and protocol values.

We have deprecated the Subscriptions SSL solution. We will retire it, when all merchants have migrated to OpenID Connect. We are not going to release new functionality to those, who are using Mutual SSL.

Please contact us at developer@mobilepay.dk if you have any questions or concerns.
